Kaizer Chiefs Reserves played to a 1 all draw against Moroka Swallows in an entertaining Gauteng Monday League fixture at Eldorado Park Stadium on Monday afternoon.



Nicholas Mynhardt scored for Chiefs in the 58th minute before Lincoln Zvasiya scored an own goal two minutes later.



The first real chance of the game came midway first half when Gabriel Nkanti brilliantly set up Philani Cele but the latter ballooned his shot.



Brilliant Khuzwayo had to be at his best to save a well taken volley from Felix Obada.



Halftime score was goalless.



Kaizer Chiefs opened the scoring through the boot of Nicholas Mynhardt beating Aubrey Mathibe from close range following good work from Kgotso Moleko.



Moroka Swallows levelled matters through an own goal by Lincoln Zvasiya after failing to clear Felix Obada's cross.



Mynhardt, Nqabeni and Cele came close to sealing the game for the Glamour Boys with the latter shooting wide while the two forced saves out of busy Mathibe.



Moleko should have won it late in the game when he pushed his shot wide after a good work from Andile Nqabeni.



The game ended 1 all but the handful Chiefs supporters who watched the game witnessed the return to the pitch of Jimmy Tau who played his last game in May 2011/2012 season.
