Kaizer Chiefs Reserves gave up a lead to allow SuperSport United Reserves to win 2-1 in an entertaining Monday League game played at Eldorado Park Stadium on Monday afternoon.



Chiefs featuring mostly players from the development took the lead midway in the first half when midfielder, Abia Nale scored a superb goal in an awkward angle giving the opposition goalkeeper no chance.



Halftime score was 1-0 to the hosts, Kaizer Chiefs.



SuperSport United who are currently leading the Reserve League came strongly during the second stanza of the game forcing Brent Lawler to score an own goal, 1 all.



Winger, Shaun Malinga made his first appearance for the Reserve side replacing Abraham Jacobs while Sandile Mtshali and Tshepo Tolo replaced Gerald Sibeko and Abbas Amidu in the second half.



Chiefs who were positioned 3rd going to the game took their foot off the paddle in the second half allowing Zakhele Mgobhozi to grab a winner from close range for the visitors.
