Kaizer Chiefs Reserves will tackle Cape Town City in another Asidlali Festival taking place at Tsakane Stadium on Sunday, 29 January. Kick-off is at 14:00.

The MultiChoice Diski Challenge (MDC) is left with four matches and the race to the finish is intensifying.

Chiefs, however, let it slip in last weekend’s fixture against Bloemfontein Celtic, giving away a 2-0 lead at the break and allowing the opponents to come back to achieve a 2-2 draw. In form Itumeleng Shopane, who was selected again for South Africa’s Under-20s side, bagged the two goals and earned himself the Man of the Match award in the process.

On the league log standing, Chiefs occupy sixth spot with nineteen points, while Cape Town City are in eleventh spot with fourteen points.

Preceding the Chiefs and City match will be an encounter between Bidvest Wits and Golden Arrows, which starts at 12:00.

Tickets are collected at Tsakane Stadium on Thursday or Friday between 13:00 and 18:00.

The matches will be live on SS TV.
