Chiefs Reserves to Welcome Arrows Reserves

Amakhosi Reserves will pave the way for the senior team when they meet Golden Arrows Reserves this Saturday at Dobsonville Stadium for a DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) match. The first team will then meet Abafana bes’thende on Wednesday in Durban.

Both Amakhosi and Arrows Reserves scored three goals last weekend in their matches. Amakhosi beat Swallow Reserves 3-1 away at Dobsonville in Soweto and Arrows were at home when they defeated Marumo Gallants Reserves 3-0 at Mpumalanga Stadium in Hammarsdale.

Amakhosi Reserves are 6th on the DDC log with 38 points in the bag, while Arrows reserves are in 13th position with 27 points. Both teams have played 24 games.

The DDC game between Amakhosi and Arrows will kick off at 10:00 at Dobsonville Stadium in Soweto on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Amakhosi’s other junior teams will also be in action in the Gauteng Development League (GDL). The under-13, under-15, under-17 and under-19 teams will take on Kagiso Porto Academy on Saturday.

The under-13s and under-17s will kick off simultaneously at 9:00. These games will be followed by the under-15 and under-19 matches at 11:00.

The GDL games will take place at the Kaizer Chiefs Village.
