Kaizer Chiefs returns to the Loftus Versveld Stadium in Tshwane to continue its charge for the ABSA Premiership trophy against Moroka Swallows on Wednesday 16th February 2010.

Fresh from a hard-fought victory against Platinum Stars, Chiefs face a side that is hard pressed to fly out of the bottom order in the log. They recently beefed their squad with the acquisition of experienced players during the open window; a factor that will add more spark to an anticipated electrifying encounter.

At Naturena, the Technical Team has been working hard to prepare for a nail-biting match whose outcome is critical to sustain the Amakhosi in the running for the honours of the coveted trophy.

With the race open and intense, a drop in points for any of the leading team may compromise their chances at this stage; something that the team may not allow at this stage.

The striking force marshaled by Kaizer Motaung JR has been scoring vital goals needed to keep the team in the leading order.

The character to recover from a 2-1 deficit has also shown as a moral booster for the team.

Expressing confidence over the team, Football Manager Bobby Motaung assured supporters that “the players will be in full mettle as displayed by their willingness to fight for their position during training.

We were encouraged by the recent victory against Platinum Stars and continuing on that score will surely pay us handsomely in the end.

This time around we are challenged to remain consistent in the race for the championship of the ABSA Premiership title, an achievement that has eluded the team for many years”.

Marketing Director Jessica Motaung was equally upbeat about road-shows in the centre of Tshwane.

“We are delighted to bring our brand to the people with the hope of maximizing supporter attendance.

Sammy Marks square in Tshwane has been a welcoming environment and we shall continue to meet our supporters when opportunity prevails.

Midweek games are a huge challenge but with efforts to reach to our supporters, we hope to deliver a reasonable volume in the stadium since we haven’t been in the area for quite some time”.

Billed for a 19:30 kick-off, ticket sales are flying out of Computicket at Shoprite Checkers at R40 for adults and R10 for children.

Grand Stand tickets sell at R50.

The Amakhosi Supporters Club Crew will also be on duty to recruit members and sell fashionable merchandise.

DJ Tokzen will spin the disks whilst NISSAN will once more afford supporters an opportunity to spin for rewards.
