New Acquisitions
Amakhosi’s quest to reinforce its lads ahead of the 2009/10 season also took a new turn this afternoon. Two new players have been revealed as part of a different Kaizer Chiefs next season.
• Tshifhiwa Mmbooi (26)
Tshifhiwa was born in Giyani, Limpopo in 1983. He signed for Kaizer Chiefs having played for the NFD side Dynamos Football Club.
“We have finalised an outright purchase with Dynamos Football Club for the player whom we have signed on a three year contract. He is a young and talented right back who we are confident will fit in our plans for the next season” he added
• Knowledge Musona (19)
Knowledge was born in Chegutu, Zimbabwe in 1990. Since the age of 14 he has played for Aces Youth Academy in Zimbabwe. He also had a short stint of his football career for six weeks at a development side FC Lugano in Switzerland. Chiefs acquired the services of Knowledge Musona on a three year deal.
“Knowledge is in our view a young and prolific striker, who given a chance can prove his worth in any reputable side. He is a much needed reinforcement in our striking force” Motaung remarked.
Motaung concluded by recommitting to the Amakhosi faithful that “further announcements on player movements will be made at a later stage”.
