Kaizer Chiefs have signed Black Mambas striker, Brian Abbas Amidu on a three and half year deal.

The player has been in trial with the Club since late last year and joins his counterparts, Tinashe Nengomasha, Thomas Sweswe, Lincoln Zvasiya, Jimmy Jambo, and Willard Katsande making him the sixth Zimbabwean in the squad.

The 21-year-old has already represented his country at U-23 level. He said speaking to kaizerchiefs.com “I am delighted to have signed with Kaizer Chiefs. I have been training with the team since late last year and have had opportunity to attend some of the games.

It is without a doubt one of the biggest Clubs in the continent and I am delighted to be part of such a respected sporting brand,”

Amidu scored 12 goals for his side last season and is determined to continue where he left off with his previous team; “I feel I can grow here as a player. I have been enjoying training with my new teammates and they have made me feel at home here in Naturena. Once more I would like to express my gratitude to the Technical Team and the Management for the belief they have shown in my abilities as a player,” added Amidu.
