Chiefs’ Time Capsule in Polokwane

Kaizer Chiefs will be playing three home games away from home at Polokwane’s Peter Mokaba Stadium in the next seven days (starting tonight with a match against Platinum Stars, kick-off at 7:30pm).

To coincide with this special occasion, the Amakhosi have taken their Time Capsule to Polokwane. It will be based from tomorrow until 15 December at Polokwane’s SABC Park (opening times are daily from 10am to 5pm).

“When walking through the Time Capsule, basically two long containers, one learns about our Club’s amazing history,” Chiefs Manager Supporters Structures Tracy Williams reacts.

“It’s a journey from Amakhosi’s foundation on 7 January 1970 until the present. There are huge photographs of, for example, Kaizer Motaung and the late Ace Ntsoelengoe in their playing days.”

“But it’s also a journey to learn about all the trophies Chiefs have won over the years. Every Amakhosi fan should experience a walk through the Time Capsule to learn about our history and to learn about our past and present stars.”

Besides this journey through the Time Capsule, supporters can also buy there our Forever Fearless Jersey for the 2014/2015 season. And, what’s more, one can buy the jersey at Polokwane’s SABC Park for only R599. That’s a R150 cut from the normal amount!

“We have taken our heat machines with us,” adds Williams. “This means that if one buys a Forever Fearless Jersey it’s possible to get names and numbers printed on it.”
