Meanwhile, the Football Department will make sure that nothing but that special Amakhosi flair prevails on the field of play in the Club’s classic clash with their rivals from Bloemfontein on Saturday, 18th September.

One of the Club’s main objectives for the season is to make sure that fans and supporters come out in their numbers to support the ‘Glamour Boys’ as they embark on practicing their tradition of winning and success in the PSL Premiership and Cup games.

September is Heritage Month and the Club will allow fans to celebrate with them in highlighting South Africa’s ‘melting pot’ of heritage. From the VIP suite experience in décor and tantalising hospitality menus to the entertainment and general ambiance at the game, fans will be treated to a special celebration of colour and passion.

The Kaizer Chiefs Faithful are urged to come dressed in their best Gold and Black regalia and/or traditional garments to make a statement and show their ‘Amakhosi Mojo’. The Marketing Department are embarking on a season’s fan campaign in asking the most passionate and loyal Amakhosi fans and supporters to come out this season and make their statement: ‘I live this brand!’

Supporters who display their creativity, colour, passion, zest and drive through the brand, are displaying their ‘Amakhosi Mojo’. Lovers of this brand are known to paint their houses in their Club’s colours, dress in the most beautiful Gold and Black regalia, pronounce their support for all to hear and swear by the Club’s motto of ‘Love and Peace’!

Marketing Director, Jessica Motaung, had this to say to fans and supporters: “Kaizer Chiefs would like to make this season a special one with our fans and supporters. We are working on our match day activations and general fan experience at our events and road shows to make sure that the Amakhosi Faithful have a truly glamorous experience of this brand.

"We are urging people to show us their ‘Amakhosi Mojo’ and be the voice behind their team and to come in their numbers. We are ‘back in town’ and we want to engage our supporters in a meaningful and memorable way. We have give aways at half time and we have our Supporters Club offering to make sure that fans become a part of the Amakhosi Family!"

Saturday’s game experience will include exciting entertainment and great halftime give-aways from Kaizer Chiefs, Vodacom and Nikon.

The Glamour ‘Boys are back in Town’ and they want to paint the city Gold and Black, road shows will take place leading up to the game in the JHB CBD and Rosettenville precinct on Friday and Saturday afternoon.

The Amakhosi Supporters’ Club will be at ALL road shows and home games. Please find the ASC team inside Gate 9 at Kiosks 10, 11 and 12 on match days.
