“We are expecting kids from all corners of the country who were born in and from 1995 to 1997. In the past players like Itumeleng Khune, Thela Ngobeni, Michael Nkambule and many others learnt their trade in the U-13s and by the time they were promoted to the first team they understood the culture of the Club,” said Lucky Stallianou.
Trials will start at 8am at Highveld College/Johannesburg College, Shaft 17 next to Soccer City/FNB Stadium.
Meanwhile second placed U-17s will take on their counterparts, Pimville Westham on Sunday, 23 August 2009 game starting at 11h00. They will soon be followed by the U-20 (also lying second in the league) who will be taking on Moroka Swallows at 12h30. Both games will be played at Shaft 17.
