Supporters Relations Manager, Cecil Motaung has revealed to kaizerchiefs.com that the Supporters Club will invade Nelspruit from Tuesday, 05 April 2011.

The Glamour Boys of South African football is back at work after a break that lasted for more than 3 weeks. They travel to Mpumalanga to honour a meeting against Bidvest Wits in a World Cup Stadium, Mbombela. Kickoff is at 19:30 on Wednesday, 06 April 2011.

“We have not played a game in and around Nelspruit for a while now. The game could not have come at a right time for us as we have been embarking on a countrywide campaign to interact with our branches. We have a meeting planned for 18:00 at Mercury Hotel on Tuesday and we would like to call on our supporters in Nelspruit to come in numbers.

“This meeting is part of what we have been doing this year going around the country where the team is playing to interact with our branches. These meetings are not only for to tell the branches what to do but for them to tell us how they want us to take things forward as the Club,” noted Motaung.

“We also going to renew and sign new members. We have also spoken to Bidvest Wits in order to sell merchandise at the Stadium.”

Motaung also echoed the Executive Chairman’s call calling the Club’s supporters to rally behind the team.

“We have been in touch with our branches around the country including supporters in neighboring Swaziland. We hope to see the fans in numbers again at Mbombela like it has been happening in games at Peter Mokaba, Athlone Stadium and in Durban,” added Motaung.
