Stuart Baxter revealed on Wednesday, 13 February 13, during the Club's Media Open Day at The Village in Naturena that the left-back, Tsepo Masilela will be monitored after he was replaced by Keegan Ritchie in the 87th minute of the Sundowns game.

Masilela, a victim of a tackle from Ramahlwe Mphahlele, appeared to be struggling before being replaced in an entertaining draw against Sundowns at Loftus.

"He will be monitored to determine the extent of his injury.

It looked like he also suffered from cramps after getting a kick from one of Sundowns defenders earlier on," said Baxter.

Meanwhile, "Afcon 7", the seven Chiefs players that were part of the Bafana Bafana team during the Africa Cup of Nations were all included in the starting line-up of the match against Sundowns.

The Briton defended his decision to play the players, "I did not want to be the one deciding for them that they are tired. I said to them play and join me on the bench when you are tired.

They were all fired up to play. I am happy that they have acclimatised well with the rest of the group," added Baxter.

Kaizer Chiefs welcome Free State Stars in the ABSA Premiership Fixture this coming Saturday, 16 February 2013, at the FNB Stadium. Kick-off is at 20:15hrs.
