Intercape has been supplying Chiefs with luxury road transport since August 2001. And on Tuesday, Intercape launched their Kaizer Chiefs branded bus, a magnificent double-decker, 68-seater, air-conditioned coach.

This luxury coach features reading lights, reclining seats, state of the art audio and video equipment, on board toilet to mention but a few of the luxuries that will be available to the Amakhosi team.

This innovative step is the first of its kind in South African soccer and proves Intercape’s commitment to the team. The bus will be used primarily for transporting the Kaizer Chiefs first team but will also be made available for everyday passenger to travel between the cities within the Intercape network.

Born in the 70s, both Kaizer Chiefs and Intercape have gone through three decades of hard work, commitment and passion for their respective industries.

Intercape has the largest double-decker fleet in Southern Africa. It is the only intercity bus company that has hostesses on board of all their trips.

Intercape also boasts its own training facilities for the training of their drives and hostesses, thereby empowering them to be the best they can be. In so doing, Intercape are leaders in their field, just like Kaizer Chiefs are in theirs.

Johan Ferreira, managing director of Intercape Mainliner was very clear about his company’s business objectives.
