Kaizer Chiefs full back Tsepo Masilela has been named in the Bafana Bafana squad to face Mauritania in a 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier away in Nouakchott on September 5.



Bafana coach Ephraim 'Shakes' Mashaba has retained the services of Amakhosi goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune. Erick Mathoho makes a return to the squad after missing the last few games of the South African national team due to injury.



Bafana will go on camp on August 30. They started their campaign for a place at the 2017 Africa of Nations with a goalless draw at home against Gambia on June 13.



Goalkeepers: Mabokgwane, Khune, R. Williams.



Defenders: Mathoho, Coetzee, Hlatshwayo, Nhlapho, Ngcongca, Mashaba, Zulu, Masilela.



Midfielders: Furman, Jali, Zungu, Masango, Ntshangase, Shongwe, Zwane, Makola, Patosi, Claasen.



Strikers: Serero, Gabuza, Vilakazi, Rantie



The selected trio will be driven to excel when Kaizer Chiefs face Free State Stars on Saturday, 22 August (kick-off at 20:15)
