The Chairman took time last weekend to watch the development sides and got to meet the players, “I felt really inspired seeing him (Chairman) face to face,” Mokoena told kaizerchiefs.com afterwards.
“It was really an honour, not only for me but for all my teammates to meet the Chairman. We are participating in an international tournament later this month and we needed this boost.
We want to do well this year - better than we did last year when we won the Platinum Stars tournament,”
Mokoena told kaizerchiefs.com that he and his teammates are ready to play against their counterparts, Orlando Pirates on Sunday.
“We all looking forward to the derby, it is never easy playing against Pirates. The win against Sporting was a boost for us and we want to keep the momentum,” added the Limpopo born who joined the Kaizer Chiefs Development as a 13 year old in 2006.
“It is my dream one day to play for the first team. I know that it is going to take a lot of hard work but first I need to play well here and then I will take it from there,” he concluded.
