Kaizer Chiefs U17 got off to a flying start in the Engen Challenge underway at Mark's Park, Emmarentia in Johannesburg.

Kaizer Chiefs brushed aside Diepsloot Arsenal in their first game on Friday, 28 June 2013 at Field B. Kaizer Chiefs scorers in the 3-0 convincing win were Yusuf Bunting (32nd; 39th) and Thato Khiba (52nd).

The junior Glamour Boys continued where they left off in the previous game with an emphatic 3-0 win over Moroka Swallows with goals coming from Yusuf Bunting brace (2nd;14th) and Brendan Konki' 38th minute thunderbolt.

Led by Coach Arthur Zwane, Chiefs showed glimpses of brilliance with Siyanda Mpetwane dictating terms in the midfield and Captain Mpho Khumalo marshaling his troops with aplomb from the centre of the midfield.

The spectators were kept on the edge of their seats by the attacking tricks of the evergreen Yusuf Bunting.

With clean sheets in the first two games, thanks to the agility of the lanky goalkeeper Mpho Mathekga pulling one save after another, Chiefs were menacing on the day.

Chiefs, are buoyant after their performances in the opening day of the Challenge, will play the final group stages match at Field A of Mark's Park, on Saturday, against Senoane Gunners. Kickoff is at 11:20.
