Kaizer Chiefs were drawn against Polokwane City in the Telkom Knockout Cup. The draw was conducted live on SuperSport TV at SuperSport studios in Randburg, on Monday (16 September 2013) evening.

Defender, Jimmy Jambo, representing the Club, was full of confidence speaking to media after the draw. Jambo, referred to Polokwane as home away from home.

He also expressed optimism when he spoke about taking one game at a time and that Amakhosi will be looking to advance to the next round of the competition.
