Kaizer Chiefs is waiting for doctor’s report on both Kaizer Motaung JR and Abia Nale after both players were substituted last night due to different injuries.

Team Physio, Dave Milner revealed both players went for a scan, “Kaizer has a problem with his groin while Abia Nale got a knock on his left ankle.

We hope to get a full report before the end of business on Thursday,” he said.

Meanwhile, Vladimir Vermezovic was still hopeful that both players will make it to Bloemfontein for a tricky Absa Premiership fixture against Celtic.

“We hope the injuries are not serious and both players will still be available against Celtic.

Kaizer is currently on good form and showed in the past couple of days that he is a key member in this team.

I was forced to take off Nale on Wednesday evening after he got a knock. He also gives us options as he can play in a number of positions in the team,” said Vermezovic.
