With the first of two assignments in Polokwane this week completed, Kaizer Chiefs now turn their attention to the second, which is a clash against Polokwane City at the old Peter Mokaba stadium on Saturday.
Amakhosi will be aiming for a double in their Polokwane adventure after their convincing 4-1 victory over Magesi FC on Wednesday night at the new Peter Mokaba Stadium.
Chiefs’ attackers Flávio da Silva and Wandile Duba struck in the first half, with Mduduzi Shabalala and Khanyisa Mayo adding two further goals after the break.
The team has remained in Polokwane as they prepare for Saturday’s early evening fixture, which marks their 24th Betway Premiership match of the season.
On the log, Chiefs sit in third place with 45 points from 23 games. Their hosts, Polokwane City, have collected 33 points from the same number of matches and currently occupy seventh position.
