Kaizer Chiefs will open their 2023/24 league campaign with what is expected to be a thrilling home encounter against Chippa United at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Sunday, 6 August.
There will be a number of new things that come with the first game of the season for Amakhosi on Sunday.
- The match will see coach Molefi Ntseki take charge of his first official match for the Glamour Boys.
- There will be a number of players who will be making their debut in the gold & black colours
- The match will see Amakhosi take to the field in their new Kappa home kit after much fanfare that followed the launch last week.
With these factors considered, it promises to be a great afternoon of football in Durban as Amakhosi will be looking at opening the season with a home victory against a tricky Chippa United team.
