Kaizer Chiefs continued to make history when they became the first PSL side to win Q1 of the Q-Innovation.
The Naturena based side finished on top of the Absa Premiership log after eight matches (Q1) with 18 points ahead of second placed University of Pretoria and third placed Orlando Pirates who finished on 15 and 14 points respectively. The Q-Innovation was introduced at the start of 2012/2013 season.
The PSL Acting CEO, Cambridge Nonkonyane handed a R1, 5 Million cheque to Marketing Director, Jessica Motaung at half time during an entertaining Absa Premiership clash against Golden Arrows at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Tuesday evening.

The journey to become winners for Q2 began on a high note as the Glamour Boys registered a 3-0 win against Golden Arrows on Tuesday evening and in the process recording a historic win, 250th for the Club since the inception of the Premier Soccer League in 1996.
