Kaizer Chiefs wrapped up school and varsity stop overs on Tuesday when they visited Ihobe Intermediate School and Central University of Technology.
The Club led by Marketing Director, Jessica Motaung in partnership with main sponsors, Vodacom visited Tsoseletso High School and University of Free State on Monday.
Players, Lorenzo Gordhino, Siphiwe Mtsweni, Lucky Baloyi and Edgar Moleko wowed the young ones at Ihobe.
Communications Manager, Vina Maphosa together with officials from Vodacom also attended the event.
Marketing Coordinator, Thato Matuka who was the MC also lightened things up at the local school.
Despite being an intermediate school, the children identified with their heroes including, Marketing Director Jessica Motaung.
Vice Principal, Mr Ntsetho thanked Kaizer Chiefs and Vodacom for gracing the school.
"We are grateful and thankful to have Kaizer Chiefs in our midst.
It is a historic day in the history of the school, something that will stay with the children for the rest of their lives.
Kaizer Chiefs is here to take luck ahead of their game against Celtic and we would like to wish them all the best.
We thank you, Kaizer Chiefs and Vodacom for choosing to come here.
We certainly hope that one day this school will produce a star that will go on and wear the gold and black," added the Stekspruit born who admitted to be a Kaizer Chiefs die hard supporter.
Next stop was Central University of Technology where students had an opportunity to win prizes courtesy of Kaizer Chiefs and Vodacom.
The Supporters Club activated and students got to buy exclusive Club merchandise and membership.
The students appreciated the initiative as Ona Pilane (30) who had written to the Club told kaizerchiefs.com; "We we are facing challenges here with regard to substance abuse and the appearance of Kaizer Chiefs players and Management might go a long way in inspire the students ahead of their exams,"
Marketing Director Jessica Motaung was equally grateful; "This has been a humbling experience from us as a brand interacting with different age groups since Monday.
It is humbling to see children also identifying their heroes and as we return to Johannesburg we take their smiles with us.
We are going to continue with these activations leading to the exams. Education remains key to the future of our country and as Kaizer Chiefs we also want to play a role in strengthening the message for our youth to do well in the upcoming exams.
I would like to thank Vodacom once more for their commitment to this project," added Jessica Motaung.
