Chincha celebrates his birthday at the Village

Members of Management and staff at Club’s HQ in Naturena met at Taung on Monday afternoon to celebrate a belated birthday for the Executive Chairman who turned 66 on Saturday, 16 October 2010.



The Executive Chairman who started the Club at a tender age of 25 was born 16 October 1944 in Orlando East. He shares his birthday with his sister, Virginia Zodwa Motaung (68).



Managing Director, Bheki Shongwe acknowledged the presence of the Chairman at the gathering,

“We all thought you were going to join us at the stadium (Chiefs played to a goalless draw against Platinum Stars at Rand Stadium) on Saturday to celebrate this birthday with you. Thank you for making time to celebrate this with us here at the Village,” said Shongwe.

“Ukhule ungakhokhobi,” continued the Managing Director, whose daughter is also born on the month of October.

Minah Ndlovhu who was the MC for the event presented the visibly delighted Chincha with a present and a card from all the staff.



Media Relations Officer, Luthando Zibeko led the staff in singing Happy Birthday for the football icon.



“Thank you, Thank you, Thank you,” said the Chairman as he cut the cake for everyone.



Meanwhile, one of longest serving staffers at the Club Sarah Mokgatle celebrated her 61st birthday on Tuesday having been born on the same day back in 1949.
