Kaizer Chiefs Football Club would like to send their heartfelt condolences to Itumeleng and Lucky Khune, the Khune family and friends following the loss of their sister and daughter, Mapaseka Khune (29) last week.



Itumeleng Khune who learnt about the passing away of his sister while away on international duty has been given bereavement leave by the Club and is not going to feature in the game against Bidvest Wits on Friday.



He told kaizerchiefs.com on Wednesday evening; “It has been a tough time for me and my family but the support we have received from the people has made things better.”



“I received emails and sms’s while away with the national team people expressing their heartfelt condolences. We would like to thank everyone for the support through these trying times,” said the Chiefs Captain.



Funeral Details:



Date: Saturday, 20 October 2012

Funeral Services will start at Khune’s home (1472 Tshing Location Ext 2 Ventersdorp) at 08:00 and proceed to the Old Apostolic Church five minutes’ drive from the home at 09:30. </
