Kaizer Chiefs family would like to send heartfelt condolences to the family of Club’s Head of Security, Katang Masemola who lost his mother, Marry Masemola (74) in the early hours last Saturday, 27 August 2011.

Katang revealed to kaizerchiefs.com, “She got ill during the week and was taken to hospital on Friday. She passed on in the early hours of the morning on Saturday. Details for the funeral will be finalized later today.”

The Club would also like to pay condolences to the family of Ernest ‘Botsotso’ Makhanya who passed on Sunday afternoon. Makhanya played for Orlando Pirates from 1985 – 1995. His combination with the likes of Tebugo Moloi, Nick Bazooka Seshweni, Bashin Mahlangu, Mike Mhlanga and others made Pirates one of the exciting teams in the late 80s and early 90s.

We hope both the families find strength during these trying times.
