The entire Kaizer Chiefs Family would like to join the rest of South Africans to send a message of heartfelt and deepest sympathy to the Setshedi family following the passing away of their beloved and former SABC radio and television sports commentator ‘Oom’ Dan Setshedi after a long illness.

The 80-year-old presenter extraordinaire died over the past weekend. He was one of SA’s finest sports commentators of all time and despite retiring from SABC in 1991; ‘Oom’ Dan remained in the hearts of many South Africans whom he touched through his legendary commentary.

Kaizer Chiefs would like to wish the Setshedi family, relatives and friends all the strength and comfort in knowing that his loss is felt by all those who knew and loved him.
