CONDOLENCES TO THE KHOZA FAMILY

The management, players and supporters of Kaizer Chiefs would like to express their heartfelt condolences over the passing away of Zodwa Khoza. We are deeply saddened by this tragic loss to the Khoza family and all at Orlando Pirates.

The Orlando Pirates brand manager passed away at the Louis Pasteur hospital in Pretoria on Monday afternoon of multiple organ failure.

We have known Zodwa Khoza as a pillar of strength behind the success of the Orlando Pirates brand both off and on the field as she diligently discharged her responsibilities.

Her departure is thus a painful blow and a great loss of talented leadership to football in our country. While we mourn her death, we equally have to celebrate and marvel at her significant contribution to both the Orlando Pirates brand and football in general.

It is therefore befitting that Kaizer Chiefs shares this grief with you and all your family members during your time of bereavement. It can only be God the Almighty who heals and restores broken hearts and of those that grew to know the deceased.

May he shower the Khoza family, Orlando Pirates and all of it’s supporters with his abundant love and grace in this trying time.

Zodwa is survived by her seven year old daughter Thando, who she shared a very special bond with. Zodwa’s father, Irvin Khoza chairman of Orlando Pirates, reiterated the fact that Zodwa and her daughter were very close in his official statement released on the clubs web site on Monday.
