Kaizer Chiefs Football Club in its entirety would like to send heartfelt condolences to Siphiwe Tshabalala, his relatives, friends for the loss of his mother, Rebecca who succumbed to death on Sunday morning.

Rebecca (45) who was a major influence and inspiration for Siphiwe Tshabalala was admitted to hospital last week.

Shabba a key member both for Club and country was one of the scorers in the 3-0 demolition of Orlando Pirates at FNB Stadium on Saturday night and dedicated both the SAFA Player of the Year award he won on Friday and the Telkom Knockout medal to his mother.

Details of the funeral will be announced in due course.
