Kaizer Chiefs Reserves slipped to second place on the DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) table after suffering an agonising 1-0 defeat at the Lucas Moripe stadium in Tshwane on Sunday.

Amakhosi appeared to be on course for a well-earned point before conceding the only goal of the game with only four minutes remaining,

With nine points from four matches, Chiefs’ next opponents will be Magesi, on Sunday, 29 September, at the Peter Mokaba stadium in Polokwane.

In the SAFA Gauteng Development League (GDL), Amakhosi came up against Panorama FC at the Panorama Sports Ground on Sunday, where the U13s won 3-0, the U15s drew 1-1, the U17s prevailed 5-1, while the U19s unfortunately went down 4-2 in a thrilling encounter.

This weekend, beginning on Friday, 27 September, Kaizer Chiefs will be representing Gauteng at the Engen Knockout Challenge Champ of Champs tournament at Marks Park, in which all nine provinces compete for the prestigious title. The final takes place on Sunday, 29 September.
