Kabelo Metsimetsi joined Kaizer Chiefs during the preseason camp in Pretoria and he was given a run in the final of the Premier’s Cup against SuperSport.

“He is a warrior,” said Dinkelacker with a smile.

“I saw him coming out aggressively for two crosses. I was really impressed by his performances during the weekend and I have no doubt that if he continues to work hard he will be a great success here,” he said.

Rainer also had special praise for young, Thela Ngobeni who minded the posts in the semi final game against Bay United.

“He has very good footwork and his positioning is superb. There is no doubt that he has learnt a lot working with the likes of Itumeleng Khune, Rowen Fernandez and Emille Baron. He is already an international and the Under 20 World Cup tournament to be played in Egypt later this year is going to help his development,”
