Josta Dladla is backing his Amakhosi teammates Itumeleng Khune, Reneilwe Letsholonyane and Siphiwe Tshabalala to be up to the challenge of lifting Bafana Bafana to a win when South Africa face defending African Champions Egypt in a 2012 CAF Africa Cup of Nations Qualifying game in Johannesburg on Saturday in Johannesburg.

Dladla broke it down to kaizerchiefs.com as to why he believes that the trio will come good against the Pharos said.

“Siphiwe Tshabalala is the kind of player who loves playing in big games and pressure situations and this game has all of the elements to bring the best out of him.

Reneilwe Letsholonyane is a player with strong character and he has shown over the past few years that he has been with the national team that he is no bit part player, what can we say Itumeleng Khune is a fantastic keeper and playing against some of the best strikers on the continent the likes of Mohamed Abou Trika will only serve to motivate him to keep a clean sheet.”

Dladla also believes that the Chiefs trio are used to playing in big games for both club and country and that will come in handy as they prepare to face Egypt, “all three of our guys played in the opening game of the 2010 FIFA World Cup and they are very experienced.

Over the past two years they have faced some of the biggest names in world football and from those experiences, I know that each one of them would have done their home work on the Egyptians and when they take to the field on Saturday they will be well prepared to go head to head with the most successful national team in Africa.”

According to Dladla the Chiefs trio will have a lot to offer Bafana on Saturday given that they have a winning mentality, “over the past season we have worked hard at Chiefs towards creating a winning attitude amongst the team.

Yeye, Itu and Shabba are three hard working players who epitomize that winning spirit and I do believe that despite facing a formidable opponent they will help the country’s course to qualify for the Nations Cup.”
