“I love it here, the guys have been wonderful. I never thought some of the guys would be so supportive” he said.
Dominic who joined Kaizer Chiefs following a straight swop deal that saw Mabhudi Khenyeza going to the other side in August, has been staying with the Johnson’s family since moving to Johannesburg. He paid tribute to the family who has looked after him ever since,
“You can imagine my situation if I had stayed alone and was unable to play. I remember at some stage I wanted to rush things and nearly aggravated the injury badly. I have been making progress though and I am grateful of the support I have received from the Johnson’s. I am not sure if I would have coped on my own” said the player affectionately known as Domza.
“I can find my way to the highway now. I can also go to the gym on my own without getting lost or something” he said laughing.
All what is left for me is to play now. I am not going to rush and I do not want to talk too much. Talk is cheap. I want people to judge me on the field. I am a private person who likes carrying on with his business quietly. I can’t wait to don the gold and black jersey” he added.
According to Team Physio, Dave Milner - Dominic Isaacs is making a good progress on his injury and will be going for a scan before the end of the week.
