Kaizer Chiefs have travelled to Durban for their fifth Betway Premiership match of the season to face Lamontville Golden Arrows at Moses Mabhida Stadium.

The match follows Chiefs’ 0-0 stalemate against Mamelodi Sundowns on Wednesday at a sold out FNB Stadium. Arrows won their midweek match against Magesi FC at King Zwelithini Stadium. The score was 2-1.

Amakhosi go into the match as the only team not to conceded a goal this season and will want to maintain that record when they meet Abafana Bes’thende.

Coach Nasreddine Nabi and his technical team have made two alterations to the team that started against Sundowns on Wednesday.

The changes will see Siphesihle Ndlovu replace Thabo Cele in the middle of the park and Ashley Du Preez starts his first game of the season, replacing Wandile Duba up front.

It will be a 4-1-4-1 formation for today’s clash against Arrows.

Brandon Petersen will be aiming for another clean sheet, which would be his sixth in a row, as he start in goals.

Paseka Mako will be on the left of Amakhosi’s defence; Zithat Kwinika will once again play with Inacio Miguel in the centre, and Thabiso Monyane is on the right of the defensive quartet.

Wednesday’s man of the match, Sibongiseni Mthethwa is at the base of midfield.

Ndlovu and Mduduzi Shabalala, who received his first call up to the national team, Bafana Bafana, are the attacking midfielders. Pule Mmodi is on the left wing and Glody Lilepo is on the right.

Du Preez is the main striker.

This referee this early evening is Thando Ndandzeka. He will be assisted are Khamusi Razwimisani and Kgara Mokoena. The fourth official is Lalelani Mngadi.
