Coach Steve Komphela has decided to make some changes compared to the side that played to a goalless draw on 17 March, Kaizer Chiefs’ last game before the FIFA break.
Ramahlwe Mphahlele has been moved to the wing, replacing Joseph Molangoane, who will start on the bench for tonight’s Nedbank Cup quarterfinal game against Baroka FC.
This means that Erick Mathoho comes in at centre-back, while Hendrick Ekstein (for Wiseman Meyiwa) and Ryan Moon (for Bernard Parker) also come into the starting XI.
George Maluleka, meanwhile, has returned to full fitness and will take a place on the bench.
Amakhosi host Baroka at Port Elizabeth’s Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday, 31 March (kick-off is at 20:15).
The referee is Eugene Mdluli.
