Entertainment galore at Ellis Park

Posted in News on Apr 04, 2002.

Kaizer Chiefs and their entertainment partners have gone an extra mile to give supporters the best form of entertainment while waiting for the big kick-off between Amakhosi and Sundowns at Ellis Park on Sunday.

The party begins at the Iwisa Gig Rig outside Gate 4 from 11:30 to 12:30. Sony Music will provide music entertainment and there will be lots of giveaways.

Then at 13:00 the Kaizer Chiefs legends - players every Amakhosi faithful would like to see will take the field against the media team in a magical curtain raiser. The team will be led by Mark “Vula Vala” Tovey and will include the likes of Teenage Dladla, Ryder Mofokeng and Ace Ntsoelengoe to name just a few.

After the Master game, entertainment continues in the form of music with Y-FM DJ Monde spinning the discs. Alaska will also be on the stage performing among others a single for their coming album.

Jabu and Vuyo from Joyous Celebration will be shooting their music video at the stadium and if you want to appear in that video you better get to the stadium early. There will also be lots of giveaways in the stadium, thanks to our sponsors.

For the first time in history, there will be vendors inside the stadium selling all sorts of goodies including your favourite – pap n vleis.

Parking tickets will be sold at Johannesburg Stadium.
