Eulberg will once again be Middendorp’s right hand man but he has also been tasked with coordinating youth development at the Bundesliga club.
Eulberg’s decision has put to bed rumours that the German was looking to coach a PSL side in South Africa after leaving Chiefs last season when Middendorp was relieved of his duties.
“I am excited to be working in the Bundesliga again,” said Eulberg.
“I was hoping to come back to South Africa, but Arminia were very serious in their offer to keep me here. We are looking to do well next season.
“I’m also happy that I’ll be working with our two South Africa players, Sibusiso Zuma and Rowen Fernandez.”
The development comes just weeks after the news that Middendorp had extended his Bielefeld contract by a year after saving the club from relegation to Germany’s second division at the end of last season.
