The chat board, which was removed from the site, a week ago because of abusive and racist viewpoints, will be re-instated this Wednesday the 28th September 2005. Many fans have sent Kaizer Chiefs e-mails requesting for the board to be reinstated.

After much deliberation - it has been decided that the chat board is an important forum and should be given back to the supporters. The chat board is coming back up with ground rules so as to protect the club, human rights groups, minorities, supporters and the interests of our partners and sponsors.

We do urge the supporters to understand that this is your forum - please do ensure that louts and hooligans who wish to take this forum away from you should be stopped.

The chat board will be under 24hour surveillance and anyone found to be out of line will be cut off. The chat board will be under daily scrutiny to see whether it is been used as a tool for both positive and healthy discussion and criticism or just as a means for certain individuals to be disgusting.

Important notes for the chatboard:

1. All supporters entering the chatboard will have to agree to a disclaimer stipulating rules and regulations on the site. Whatever is said on the site can have legal implications.

2. The club does encourage supporters to discuss whatever is on their mind and feel free to criticize the club and its structures as much as possible. Do so with the correct language as persons using foul language will be cut off.

3. The chatboard is a forum for supporters to keep in touch and share information - not for people to try and find dates and establish and fulfil various hormones’ desires. Members trying to arrange dates on the chatboard will also be cut off.

4. We would like feedback on the chat board about the web site and other Kaizer Chiefs property. Do feel free to discuss any thing on your mind about your favourite club and do it using excepted language.
