Head coach Vladimir Vermezovic welcomed Father Pantelelejmon Javanovic, the ambassador Goran Vujicic and Vladika Grigorije to the Village early this week.



The distinguished gentleman who were joined by former Black Leopards and Bay United coach, Vladislav Heric had an opportunity to meet with the Executive Chairman, Kaizer Motaung and Football Manager, Bobby Motaung.



Vermezovic was pleased with the visit of his countryman, “I appreciate that the two gentlemen took time off their busy schedule to visit me here at the Village. It is also great that they also met the Chairman and the Football Manager. I am also going to invite them to come through when we play a game at Rand Stadium,” said the visibly delighted Vermezovic.



The ambassador was very impressed with the facilities in Naturena, “I am very impressed with what I have seen here. This shows that Kaizer Chiefs is a great Club and one of the best organized in the continent. I watch their games on television when I have time. One can see that the team has improved since Vladimir came here.”



“I know him since he was a player in Serbia. He has always been a very nice guy but played for wrong team, Partizan Belgrade,” jokingly said the staunch supporter of Red Star Belgrade rivalry team to Partizan.



Vujicic speaking to kaizerchiefs.com also took the opportunity to congratulate South Africa for hosting a successful world cup, “The World Cup was very organized and South Africans did a very good job. I would like to congratulate the organizers, government and all the South Africans for the job well done,” he added.



Vladislav Heric who was recently a contender to take over as a coach at Mpumalanga Black Aces watched his countryman taking the team through their paces, “Vladimir has proved that he is a very good coach. He is also a FIFA instructor and I came here to learn how he prepares his team and also the latest trends in football,” said Heric, currently living in Cape Town.
