“We are all very excited,” Kaizer Chiefs Supporters Structures Manager Tracy Williams enthuses about the numerous Amakhosi Supporters streaming to the Village on Friday and Saturday morning ahead of the Soweto Derby. “Branches from as far as the Cape, East London, Kimberley, Durban and the Free State will come here for a stop-over during their Derby journey.”
Because of the upcoming Derby the KC Retail store will be open on Friday from 8:30am until 8pm and on Saturday from 8am until 12am.
Furthermore, Ukhosi FM will be broadcasting live from the Village during these two days.
A walk through the Time Capsule will be another amazing experience, as it will take one on a journey through the history of Kaizer Chiefs.
“The run-up towards the Derby,” adds Williams, “is a time for members of the Amakhosi Family – our Supporters, from young to old – to meet at the Village, to discuss the Club we all love, reminiscence about the past and look forward to Saturday afternoon’s clash. It will also be an opportunity to meet with old acquaintances as well as make new friends. We are one Family. Come and join us at the Village on Friday and Saturday. It will be a fun experience.”
