Goals by Kelvin Mushangazhike and Patrick Mabedi gave Kaizer Chiefs a deserved 2-0 victory against rivals Sundowns in a Premiership clash at Ellis Park on Saturday.

95 - Referee Ace Ngcobo blows the whistle and it's all over for Sundowns. Final score: Chiefs 2 Sundowns 0

92 - Chiefs make their final change with defender David Kannemeyer coming on for midfielder Fredericks.

90 - The sun is about to set for Sundowns and the referee to add five minutes of stoppages.

87 - Sundowns step up their attack. A good ball into the box by Marumo and a powerful header by Mthembu but Baloyi is his usual best and makes no mistake.

85 Goooooal! - Penalty kick specialist Mabedi steps up to send Kananelo the wrong way for Amakhosi's second 2-0

84 - A great run by Chiefs from the right with Radebe laying a good ball into the box - aimed for Moshoeu - who is brought down by Manzini and referee awards a penalty to Amakhosi and a yellow to Manzini.

82 - Fredericks get a yellow for a foul on Mthembu.

77 - Sundowns make their final change with Victor dos Santos coming on for Sapula.

74 - McCarthy gives away possession in a dangerous position and Marumo almost brings Sundowns level but Baloyi does well to save.

70 - A throw-in by Sithole to Mbuthu, whose pile-drive is well captured by Kananelo.

67 - Another "goal" disallowed. This time after a brilliant strike by Radebe hit the upright and a follow-up by Musasa struck off.

62 - Bad call by the assistant referee denies Chiefs the opportunity to go 2-0 up following a great run by Musasa who delivered the ball into the box for Fredericks, whose effort results in an own goal by Bianchi but the referee disallows the goal for an offside

58 - Kubeka receiving treatment for a head injury after a bad tackle by Sapula and appears in bad shape. Rodney Thobejane warming up in case he doesn't make it.

54 - The second yellow for Chiefs with McCarthy penalised for a foul on Maluleke.

49 - Anxious moments for Amakhosi as Kubaka slips while trying to clear a cross but Maluleke is caught almost unawares by the ball and Baloyi clears.

47 - Sundowns free-kick just outside the Chiefs box, a dummy by Shai but Sapula's attempt sails harmlessly above goal.

46 - Sundowns make their first change at the start of the second half with Alois Bunjira on for Nunens.

37 - Maluleke's attempt with a long-range shot from the right is well captured by Baloyi.

32 - Kubeka ajudged to have pulled the shorts of Maluleke and a free-kick to Sundowns but Chiefs clear for corner that is taken by Manzini and McCarthy does well in the air to clear danger.

28 - First card for Sundowns as Nunens goes into the book for a nasty tackle on Sithole. A free-kick to Chiefs on the left, taken by Sithole is nicely floated into the box with Radebe heading just wide.

22 - Downs corner - shortly-taken - between Sapula and Shai presents Marumo with an opportunity but his powerful shot hits the cross bar and Chiefs defence clear for corner

21 - Chiefs corner by Mushangazhike with Musasa and McCarthy going for the ball but Sundowns clears.

17 - Amakhosi's best chance so far with Radebe doing well to stay on his feet and lay the ball to Fredericks, whose powerful shot is pushed away for a corner by Kananelo.

15 - A good cross from Sithole on the left into the box and Musasa attempts an overhead kick that is blocked by Sundowns defence.

14 - End-to-end action with Sundowns now in attack, Sapula's effort - under pressure from Kubeka - is saved by Baloyi.

13 - Mushangazhike almost in with a change as he comes face to face with Kananelo but Sundowns defence clears.

12 - Sundowns attack with Shai playing the ball across toManzini in the far right but Mabedi does well to block the shot for a corner.

7 - Tempers about to reach boiling point with tough tackles flying in thick and fast. This time Chalwe is stretched off with what looks like a head injury. But a moment later Chalwe is back in action.
