First league game at home on Saturday

Kaizer Chiefs will host Free State Stars at the FNB Stadium on Saturday, 22 August. It will be our first home game of the 2015/16 Absa Premiership Season and we are looking forward to our supporters coming out in numbers.

Free State Stars will be visiting us wounded after suffering a loss against Mpumalanga Black Aces in their first league match, which makes the match a tricky affair.

Amakhosi played to a goalless draw away against Chippa United. As the defending league champions, we want to record our first win in the league, especially at home where we want to stamp our authority from the word go.

Kick-off for this much awaited fixture is at 20:15, gates open at 17:00.

We have started the season with good turnouts of our loyal Chiefs supporters in the Carling Black Label Cup and on away trips to Port Elizabeth and Bloemfontein Celtic. The crowd at our MTN8 quarterfinal fixture against Maritzburg United was encouraging. However, we would love to see that our supporters improve on that showing by attending all our home games in large numbers.

We encourage the supporters to buy their tickets at Computicket and Shoprite/Checkers outlets nationwide. Tickets cost R40 for adults and R10 for children under the age of 12. Parking can be bought for R20.
