The 2015/16 season will start in the weekend of 4/5 Aug 2015 with the MTN8. The PSL announced this at last week’s press conference.

Kaizer Chiefs will face Maritzburg United in the first round of the MTN8, the former club of new coach Steve Komphela.

Amakhosi’s first Absa Premiership clash will be against Chippa United at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday, 8 August (kick-off at 20:15). Chiefs will welcome Free State Stars the following week, 15 August, at the FNB Stadium (kick-off at 20:15).

The last fixture before the festive break will be played on 20 Dec 2015. PSL action will return after the festive break on 9 Jan 2016.

The Absa Premiership season comes to a conclusion on 21 May 2016, while the Nedbank Cup will finish on 28 May 2016.

The finalised fixture list will take into consideration the South African national team fixtures, incorporating Fifa weeks and CAF dates.
