Coach Ernst Middendorp has decided to hand Nkosingiphile Ngcobo his first start for Amakhosi. The 19-year-old midfielder made his first team debut in last week’s 1-0 win over Maritzburg United, coming on as a substitute at the start of the second half.
Kaizer Chiefs face SuperSport United tonight in an Absa Premiership fixture on the road at Mbombela Stadium.
Bruce Bvuma will continue in goal. The young keeper was selected this week for the Bafana Bafana squad to face Libya next weekend in the final Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
Daniel Cardoso was also selected for the national team.
Meanwhile, Willard Katsande returns to the starting line-up and will wear the captain’s armband.
The centre-back trio will be Ramahlwe Mphahlela, Kgotso Moleko and Cardoso again, while Khama Billiat and Leonardo Castro will lead the attack.
