Bafana Bafana coach Ephraim 'Shakes' Mashaba has named his squad for this month's final 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sudan and Nigeria.
Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Brilliant Khuzwayo has earned a first call-up for the senior men’s national team. Seasoned campaigner midfielder Reneilwe Letsholonyane is another. He will reach his 50th cap milestone if the Amakhosi plays in one of the two games. Tough defenders Erick Mathoho and Tefu Mashamaite as well as midfield wizard Mandla Masango continue to feature in the coach Mashaba’s plans.
Bafana Bafana, who top Group A, will host the Falcons of Jediane on 15 November before travelling to Nigeria to tackle the continental champions four days later.
The home tie will be played at Durban’s Moses Mabhida Stadium in honour of the late Bafana and Orlando Pirates skipper Senzo Meyiwa, who was buried last Saturday at Heroes Acre in Chesterville after being fatally shot on 26 October.
