“Teams know what happen when they visit FNB,” says Khune at the MTN 8 Cup Press Conference this afternoon. “We played Celtic away and we recovered after they scored early in the game.”

Chiefs will host the second leg of MTN8 at FNB Stadium, on Saturday, 29th August. Kick-off is at 20:15.

“Last season we didn’t concede goals at this stage of the competition,” reminisces Khune following Chiefs’ current four goals scored against them in the 2015 MTN 8 before elaborating further to say, “We can improve on that and we will start to keep clean sheets from this Saturday.”

When probed further, Khune clarifies, “We are in this together and as a team we have a responsibility to keep clean sheets. It is work in progress.”

The aggregate score is 1 - 1 following the 1st Leg played last week at the Free State Stadium. Bernard Parker scored through a fantastic scorcher to give Chiefs an advantage of an away goal. “We have a slight advantage going to the 2nd Leg,” refers Khune.

We encourage the supporters to buy their tickets at Computicket and Shoprite/Checkers outlets nationwide and fill the stadium as was at the 1st Leg of this MTN8 Cup semifinal. Tickets see for R60 (West Stand) and R40 for the rest of the stadium. Children under 12 years still pay R10 for entry. Parking tickets sell for R20.
