The Village was abuzz today with activity with the supporters from all walks of life, the nationals and from the neighbouring countries including Botswana arrived at The Village to catch the glimpse of the new home and away jersey and experience the journey of the yesteryears of the Amakhosi through an innovative walk through container.

Welcome to the The Village (Gaone, States, Mothusi, Kefilwe and Jermina), how are you and how do you feel to be here today?

“Thank you, it is always a pleasure to be at The Village. We are all the way from Botswana and wanted to be the first to own the new Amakhosi – Forever Fearless kit. We bought the Gold and Black jersey which we will wear next week when we play the Carling Cup in the Derby against Pirates (Orlando Pirates). We love both home and away kits, they are really beautiful.” said the Batswana in one voice.

How do you feel having walked-through the containers?

“An amazing and unparalleled experience. We just wish everybody can come here and have a feeling of greatness that is depicted through the journey of the Amakhosi. The glory days and the star players of the past just bring those memories of the past and makes one look forward to the new season.” said Gaone.

Good afternoon Khosis, how do you do? Welcome to The Village, and tell us about your visit here today?

“We are from Frankfurt and my friend is from Frede, all the way from the Free State Province. We travelled 140km to get here and catch the glimpse and place orders for the new jersey. We are accompanied by a die-hard supporter of the opposition club who also expressed her love for the new Chiefs kit, which is testimony that this kit is one of the best that we have ever seen in Chiefs history. Compared to the past kits this jersey is smart and the look and feel of the material is far much better. We are also happy to see the two new kits unveiled simultaneously for the first time and gives us a broader choice,” said the supporters.

The new jerseys and the walk-through the journey of the history of the Glamour Boys will continue until the 26th of July between 10:00 and 15:30 including on Sunday the 20th of July.
