Gaxa making progress on his injury

Siboniso ‘Nesta’ Gaxa is making progress on the ankle injury he sustained during the Absa Premiership fixture against Bidvest Wits in September Club’s Medical Team revealed on Tuesday afternoon.



The KwaZulu-Natal born defender has been missing in action for some time now and this news of him making progress will be welcomed by the Technical Team.



Team Physio Dave Milner told kaizerchiefs.com; “Gaxa (Siboniso) is making a good recovery from his ankle. He has started running and is doing simple functional ball exercises. He will undergo another scan this week just to ensure the ligament has healed well and is expected to return to full training next week.

Morgan ‘Mo’ Gould



Morgan is currently working hard at his rehabilitation. He must be commended for his great attitude and work ethic after such a traumatic injury. He is still on track to be ready for the second half of the season.



Sakhile ‘Last Born’ Hlongwa



He is recovering well after his bilateral groin surgery. He is working hard with the biokineticist and has started running at training. He is expected to return to training mid-November.



Jimmy ‘Big V’ Tau



He is resting after his surgery but is expected to miss the rest of the season.



Jimmy ‘Jambo Jet’ Jambo



Jimmy will be going for surgery on 31 October 2012 . The surgery is normally delayed to allow the swelling to settle. He had an MRI scan and saw the Orthopaedic Surgeon who said there was significant damage. After the surgery Jimmy Jambo will be placed on rehab program and a route to map his return to play will be implemented.
