“I have made progress on my knee injury that kept me out of Arrows game but my biggest wish for Christmas is to see the team on top of the log table,” he said.
The Glamour Boys had a slow start to the season which saw them winning only one game out of three in the league. The turning point was when they defeated Bloemfontein Celtic in their own backyard. That was followed by emphatic wins over Supersport United, AmaZulu, Bidvest Wits and Golden Arrows.
Even the loss to archrivals, Orlando Pirates in November did not seem to faze the Glamour Boys.
“We have done well but keeping the momentum is equally important for us. There is a strong feeling among the players that we can go to the Christmas break in a comfortable position.

Chiefs are currently lying fourth on the log after 10 games with 18 points, a point away from log leaders, Golden Arrows and Ajax Cape Town.
