Ngcobo scored on his first appearance for the Glamour Boys banging in a winner against Eleven Arrows in Namibia and that was followed by a stunning diving header against rivals, Mamelodi Sundowns in the semi final of the Charity Cup.
Ndlanya who was at Soccer City on the day spoke highly of the towering striker, “I have no doubt that he has what it takes to succeed at the Club. He has the height and looks hungry to succeed at Chiefs,” he told kaizerchiefs.com.
“He has scored some crucial goals during the preseason proving to be a good buy. I think the fans need to give him a chance and support him because things turn out to be different when the season starts,” said Ndlanya who spearheaded Kaizer Chiefs attack in the 90s.
Ngcobo who joined his teammates at Rand Stadium for training on Thursday morning is hoping to make his official debut for the Club on Saturday when the Glamour Boys welcome Bloemfontein Celtic at Rand Stadium.
