“We have seen what we’ve been witnessing on the television,” says Grade 1 teacher from Maboi School, Mam Makgatho Selaelo. Maboi Primary School paid Kaizer Chiefs a visit on Thursday afternoon.

“We are grateful to experience this privilege of touching Chiefs grounds,” appreciates Selaelo.

Maboi’s visit happens at the backdrop of the reigning champions Chiefs hosting Bloemfontein Celtic in the second leg of MTN8 at FNB Stadium, on Saturday, 29th August. Kick-off is at 20:15.

“We are happy that learners were taught the history of Kaizer Chiefs,” reflects Selaelo about the walk through the Kaizer Chiefs time capsule.

A shy but sharp minded Rorisang Masekela a Grade 3 learner from Bochum, in Limpopo, “I love Siphiwe Tshabalala and I am happy to be here.”

“On behalf of Maboi Primary, we wish Chiefs all of the best in their upcoming match against Celtic,” concludes Selaelo.

We encourage the supporters to buy their tickets at Computicket and Shoprite/Checkers outlets nationwide and fill the stadium as was at the 1st Leg of this MTN8 Cup semifinal. Tickets see for R60 (West Stand) and R40 for the rest of the stadium. Children under 12 years still pay R10 for entry. Parking tickets sell for R20.
